Hayling Island Holiday with Mum - Day 3

 After a cooling paddle at the beach - it was a VERY hot week - we headed to Sam and Simon's for a barbecue.   Domino disgraced himself immediately by nipping Simon, but they very soon became best friends.   Bloody dog!

Hayling Island Holiday with Mum - Day 2

 

Mum and I swam every morning - how lucky were we!   There was a lovely, usually empty, pool on site and we swam for an hour each morning before setting off to do whatever we were doing that day.   I knew that Amy and David were going to bring Holly (Domino's Mum) and Daisy over for a walk, so I shipped Mum off to go shopping with Sheila and I waited for the gang to arrive and have a walk with them.  

After that, we all headed over to Sheila's for lunch and to sit in the garden which was such a lovely treat.   We were obviously all so engrossed in chatting, that the above is the only photo I've got of our gathering!

And later that day, when everyone had gone home, Domino and I found this wonderful gem of a walk behind the site.  So very very lucky.

Hayling Island Holiday with Mum - Day 1

 Back in September 2023, Mum and I had a fabulous week on Hayling Island - the site chosen as it was literally over the road from Sheila and Alan's!    These photos were taken on our first evening when I left Mum to settle in and I took Domino for an explore - we were only five minutes from the beach - we couldn't have been luckier!
