New Year's Eve at Mousehold

I miss Finn!   He wasn't always a joy to walk, as he was quite reactive to other dogs, we always had lots of barking, and I was always a bit anxious about what he might do.   But I do miss him.   Most of all, I miss the cuddles - Domino does not do cuddles.  Domino does wrestling!   I know I shouldn't compare them, but I definitely miss the affection.

(Having said that, Domino is off to have his bits chopped off soon, so fingers crossed he loses his love of wrestling, and becomes more cuddly after that!)

Christmas Eve at East Runton

Being so far behind with posts (three years in fact!) has one advantage - it's bringing back lovely memories of Finn, who sadly is no longer with me.   Physically, of course.   Mentally and emotionally, he's with me all the time.

Shopping with Shannon

Towards the end of each year, Shannon and I seem to galvanise each other into action to go shopping - usually of the Christmas variety, but more likely than not just for ourselves.  And we generally always plan a shopping day around a cream tea or cake!

More often than not, we usually end up at the seaside too!

We have been known to head to Ely Christmas Fair too, but generally, again, to buy cheese in the food hall!

And just before Christmas, we'll head into Norwich - not for shopping - but to ooh and aah over the Christmas decorations, and get a coffee.   (Sometimes we'll ask Amanda too!)

Bacton Woods

Bacton woods is so very magical at all times of year, but in the autumn (October 2018), with the light being so much lower in the sky, and the leaves starting to fall, you can't beat it.
