Sheringham Gansey Exhibition - August 2021

 The gansey exhibition at Sheringham Museum was a bit of a departure from their previous shows as this was all about kids' jumpers.   Mum and I spent an hour or so checking them out - they look so much neater when they're made for little people!

Seeds and Stuff - August 2021

 

August 2021 was such a tricky month for the family, and I'm not sure if I didn't do any gardening, or if I did do some gardening and just didn't photograph anything?

However, I clearly had some assistance from my little garden helper - where would I have been without him?

Odds and Sods - August 2021

 

August 2021 was one of the hardest times I've ever lived through.   Dad's health was failing and so everything was put on hold for the month so we could all support each other.  I did make time to do a one day weaving course which I treated myself to for my birthday and really enjoyed channelling my concentration into something which made me forget everything else for a while.  And of course Domino was a real joy and kept me relatively sane through the whole month.

Horsford Woods

 In our bid to find ever more different walks, Domino and I discovered Horsford Woods.   Following the building of the Northern Distributor Road (which Andy worked on!), many more walking routes have opened up with decent car parks, and the occasional coffee van!  

60th Birthday Celebrations

 As we all get older, we celebrate birthdays less and less - it's enough just for us to be together relaxing.

We always have Domino with us anyway so there aren't that many opportunities for celebrating, not that we mind of course.

And what exactly do you get the man who has everything for his 60th birthday?   A hammock, that's what!    Somewhere to chill and where he can sleep out in the awning in the summer when the caravan bed is way too hot.

And even if it is your birthday, if you make the best roast in the world, it's still your job!   Although I did make him a cake!
