Saffron Walden

On a grim wet day back in September, I had a visit to Saffron Walden with Mum and Dad, who were keen to visit this market town in Essex.  It's a pretty little place with some incredible old buildings and we had a good couple of hours wandering around gawping in the windows of the various antique shops in the town.  (We also managed to fit in an elevenses stop and lunch too!)
Dad got quite nostalgic at this packet of Woodbines spotted in one of windows down a tiny lane at the back of the library.
As we drove into Saffron Walden, we spotted an enormous church up on the hill, which looked like it needed exploring.  Sadly, we didn't get time on this visit, but I'm hoping to go back for another look round, hopefully on a sunnier day.
