Odds and Sods - June 2020

The summer seems to have gone on for ever this year - not that I'm complaining - and I keep forgetting it's only mid July as I type this.

I'm still eating way too much - although the restaurants and pubs are starting to open up again.  But as I've stopped spending money generally as I'm too scared to go into normal shops, I seem to have spent more on food instead!

I developed a summer cough/ cold a few weeks back and, as we're all so careful nowadays, work insisted I go and have a Covid test which wasn't the most pleasant experience - swabs up my nose so far it felt it was going to come out of my eyeballs, and one down my throat which made me gag.  All very strange, I felt like I was in some sort of science fiction film, with all the marshalls and medics in full PPE regalia and me not being able to wind down my car windows.

I've been busy making myself  a jumper, not much further to go now.

I've also been making myself a blouse - it's been ages since I made myself something - I think I've probably just lost a bit of confidence.

Finn and I had lots of lovely cuddles and the odd walk during June - although not so many walks as it was very very warm - and I'm heartbroken that I had to say goodbye to him a couple of weeks ago now.   I'm so glad I've taken so many photos of him over the years and have some wonderful memories of my beautiful boy.
