Domino's First Holiday

In April 2021, lockdown restrictions were lifted sufficiently enough that I could get down to the caravan, which was also Domino's first holiday.   Because he was still so tiny - only six months old - we didn't do too much or stray too far from the site, given that he'd been in the car for nearly five hours on the way down.

Domino did get his first ever visit to a pub garden this weekend!

Domino Reunited with his Mum!

Back in April 2021, en route to the caravan, we had a slight detour to visit Domino's Mum, Holly, and her Mum, my cousin Amy!   At first Domino was very nervous and just hid under the table.  I think it was all a bit overwhelming for him.

Cousin Tim also came up to Amy's for the day, we had a lovely time sitting in the sunshine chatting and laughing at the dogs.   Amy at the time was living on the farm - her partner, David, is a farmer's son and the whole family had moved back to the farm during covid and lockdown.   Because of this, we were surrounded by dogs!   Domino caught up with siblings, aunties, grandmothers.  It was all a bit hectic!

We had a great tour of the farm and Domino got to meet sheep and cows too.  It was all very exciting for a six month old puppy!

Although I'm really not sure what Domino thought of his brother!

Seeds and Stuff - April 2021

April was all about violets in my garden.   And of course, Domino had to get in on the act too!  This tub is so overflowing with violets that I really do need to split them and spread them around the garden.

The forget me nots also take over, but they aren't constrained to pots, it spreads everywhere like a carpet.  Beautiful.
