Back in April 2021, Amanda and I had a few days down in Cornwall. We weren't sure if we were actually going to get there, as Dad was very very ill and we didn't want to leave Mum and Raymond to deal with everything. However, Mum and Rat insisted that we go so we did, but didn't make the decision until the day before. We didn't tell anyone else that we were going - on my part, because I felt terribly guilty that we were going away, knowing how poorly Dad was. In hindsight, it was a break that was really needed. And we laugh about it now, that we went all the way to Cornwall but didn't go further than a twelve mile radius from the caravan.
It was lovely to not do very much at all really, not something that is usual on our holidays!
It was pretty much all about eating, knitting, walking Domino, relaxing.
I finished my scarf that I'd been working on for, what seemed like, ages.
I think it was probably just what we needed.
