Bangor, Anglesey, Sunset, Champagne and Scrabble!

First stop on Saturday following breakfast was a trip to the seaside at Bangor - it was very cold!  Which meant a refreshment stop and hot drink on the pier, where the proprietors had very thoughtfully provided blankets!

Having soon exhausted the possibilities of Bangor, we decided to head over to Anglesey, just a short drive away.  Obviously having an engineer with us, we had no choice but to do a quick inspection of the bridge and the works going on!

Followed by a walking tour of the small church and graveyard below the bridge with fantastic views of the Menai Straits.

Back to Maria's to sit in the garden, drink tea and watch the sunset, until Shiriin deemed it too cold to be sitting outside!    She'd been in a blanket and all her clothes since we got back at teatime!

And so it was inside to light the fire, drink champagne and play scrabble.  Of course it was!

I bloody love these two!
