Other People's Gardens - November 2018

Very pleased to report that the gardening jobs have not dried up at all this winter and I'm still working - just as well as I've dropped another day in my day job so need to try and build up my gardening jobs.

At the end of November, I had the pleasure of working in this garden up near Aylsham and was overwhelmed from the scent of this Viburnum.  And it looked so pretty against the very blue sky that day.
I did prune the dead wood out and tried to thin some of the rest of the branches - I tried really hard not to take any of the flowering branches out, but some suffered obviously.  Hopefully the shaping I carried out though will mean a better shape and even more flowers - and fragrance - next year.   It's not all about instant gratification with gardening!
