We had such a long and early summer this year, that the garden seemed to be a bit washed out for much of the time. It felt that everything had gone over by the time it would normally be getting going.
I started to harvest my spuds really early.
Everything grew out of control this year and there was quite a lot of hacking back.
I've veered between loving and hating my garden this year - I had plenty of time to deal with it in lockdown but as soon as I started working in other people's gardens from the end of May again, mine has gone to pot. I'm hoping to really pare it all back and redesign it over the autumn/ winter, time permitting.
